The Beach, my favorite place to be!

O.K, I couldn't resist taking this classic beach shot.

The kids were trying to figure out who was going to get buried in the sand, neither of them really wanted to, but all of us wanted the picture ( O.K I'll be honest, mainly i wanted the picture.) So, Kian said, "I'll do it if you pay me Landin" (smart kid.) Landin said, "O.K I'll give you a dollar." Kian said "No way, 5 dollars." Meanwhile, Mike and I were cracking up and so were the people beside us. This 5 dollar offer razzed Landin a bit and so he said "forget it, you can bury me." Then Kian piped in " Fine Landin, I'll do it for 2 dollars but that's my final offer, deal or no deal" (this is a kid who has never even seen that show, he's just heard people talking about it, marketing at it's finest!)


This is one of my favorite stores in Beach Haven. They have so many cute beach-themed home decor items. I've thought about trying to make a few of these items myself. So, I thought I'd snap a few photos to refresh my memory for days to come. Turns out I liked the photo even better then the decor. Now I don't need to make anything, just buy a frame!

Well, we are back from the beach. A little too soon in my opinion. We had such a nice visit with family and friends. We spent a few days in Atlantic City and a few at Beach Haven, L.B.I. It was a much needed time for relaxing and rejuvenating. For me I enjoyed lounging on the beach and taking as many photos as the boys could stand, but for the boys it was all about the "action." The casinos and the boardwalk were the hot topics that week. Mike had a great time gambling with my dad. Kian also had his hand in there by telling daddy which machines to put his money in. Turns out Kian suggestions were always right on!! Kian was the big winner for the week! Landin thought gambling was cool but didn't want to risk any of his "hard earned money." We stayed at the Borgata and Trump Taj Mahal. I'd def. recommend the Borgata. It's a beautiful Hotel/Casino. The amenities were plentiful too.
